AquaSEAL – The Watertight Decorative Overlay
Drummondville, Quebec: At the August 2006 IWF show in Atlanta, CDM Decor officially launched AquaSEAL, the high performance formaldehyde free decorative overlay where the ability to resist moisture is critical. AquaSEAL is manufactured and offered exclusively by CDM Decor Papers Inc., Drummondville, Quebec.

TECHNICAL PERFORMANCES
AquaSEAL is available with an EB TOPCOAT for superior performance providing INCREASED BENEFITS to the end user:
- Water holdout of 48 hrs minimum
- Scratch and wear resistance far superior to both paper and vinyl, with a stipple finish matching TFM
- Higher heat resistance than vinyl or paper
- No shrink or creep like vinyl
- No yellowing or discolouring like vinyl
- Higher print fidelity than vinyl
- No cracking with heat cycle test
Aquaseal is a “Green” product, unlike vinyl, which is considered “hazardous material” and is illegal to burn or dispose of in landfills.
All CDM finish decorative overlays are formaldehyde free.
In addition CDM’s new AquaSEAL water barrier products offer a 100% barrier against formaldehyde emission from boards.

AquaSEAL offers superior performance in applications such as kitchen and bath cabinets, RTA furniture, store fixtures, closet organizers, MH/RV and more.
